Kappa
Installation
@dicehub/kappav0.4.2

Requirements

  • Vue ^3.5.0
  • Node.js >=24.19.0 <25
  • pnpm for the commands below

Install Package

Install Kappa and Vue from npm in your application.

pnpm add @dicehub/kappa vue@^3.5.0

Styles and Theme

Import the component styles and Kappa color theme once in your application. Component imports never inject a global theme or reset, so this stays explicit and the stylesheet remains a public export.

import "@dicehub/kappa/styles/kappa.css";
import "@dicehub/kappa/styles/theme-kappa.css";

The Colors reference lists every token, its light and dark values, and the recommended contrast pairs.

TypeScript

Kappa imports support strict declaration checks. For a Vite application, use these TypeScript settings:

{
  "compilerOptions": {
    "strict": true,
    "moduleResolution": "Bundler",
    "skipLibCheck": false
  }
}

Kappa includes corrected types for affected Ark UI components. Direct imports from @ark-ui/vue still use Ark's own declarations.
